Trump nominates ex-Fox News host Tammy Bruce as deputy UN ambassador

President Donald Trump has nominated former Fox News host Tammy Bruce to serve as the deputy United Nations ambassador. Bruce is presently the spokesperson for the State Department. According to Trump, she has performed “brilliantly” in her current capacity. Her proposed appointment would place a figure with a background in broadcast media and government communications into a significant diplomatic role within the international body.
