Small boat migrant crossings hit 50,000 under Labour

The total number of small boat migrant crossings has now exceeded 50,000 since the Labour government assumed power. A government minister has publicly characterized this figure as unacceptable. Despite this assessment, the same minister also indicated that the Labour administration is making progress in addressing the ongoing situation.
