Steve Rosenberg: Russia brushes off Trump’s claim of ‘paper tiger’ in aimless war

BBC correspondent Steve Rosenberg has observed that Russia’s reaction to recent criticisms from Donald Trump has been notably subdued. Despite Trump’s remarks reportedly describing Russia as a “paper tiger” involved in an “aimless war,” Moscow’s response has so far demonstrated considerable restraint. Rosenberg indicates that, contrary to being provoked or agitated by these comments, Russian officials appear to have largely dismissed or “brushed off” the claims, maintaining a composed stance on the international stage.
