Harrods sets aside more than £60m for abuse compensation

Luxury department store Harrods has committed to setting aside more than £60 million for a compensation fund aimed at individuals who have reported abuse. The decision follows an ongoing investigation by the Metropolitan Police concerning the deceased former owner of the iconic retail establishment. Authorities have confirmed that a significant number of people have come forward in connection with the inquiry. A total of 146 individuals have now reported alleged crimes to the police as part of the extensive investigation. The allocated funds are intended to provide redress to the victims affected by the allegations.
