UK to help protect Belgium after suspected Russian drone incursions

The United Kingdom is set to provide support to Belgium following a request for assistance in response to suspected Russian drone incursions. Sir Richard Knighton, the UK’s top military official, confirmed that his Belgian counterpart approached him this week seeking aid. The support package is expected to include both military personnel and essential equipment, aimed at bolstering Belgium’s protective measures. This cooperative effort underscores the ongoing concerns regarding regional security and the need for collaborative defense strategies among allied nations. The move comes as European countries remain vigilant about potential aerial threats and border security challenges.
