After nearly four decades, three long-time companions have successfully concluded a monumental 17,000-mile cycling expedition that began in 1985. The trio recently journeyed back to Chile to complete a final leg of the arduous challenge, bringing their epic journey to a triumphant close. Describing themselves as “tired, exhilarated and proud,” the friends reflected on the enduring nature of their friendship and their shared commitment to the ambitious feat. Their return to the South American nation marked the culmination of a journey spanning forty years, underscoring a remarkable display of perseverance and camaraderie. The completion of the 17,000-mile route serves as a testament to their unwavering determination to finish what they started, a challenge first embarked upon in the mid-1980s.
