Kennedy Center seeks $1m from musician who cancelled after Trump name added to venue

The Kennedy Center is pursuing a $1 million claim against drummer Chuck Redd, stemming from his cancellation of a scheduled Christmas Eve performance. The drummer reportedly withdrew from the event following a board decision to rename a venue within the performing arts center. This move by the Kennedy Center to seek significant damages underscores the contractual implications of the cancellation.
