Vonn ‘making progress’ after third leg operation

Former Olympic downhill champion Lindsey Vonn has expressed optimism about her recovery following a third surgical procedure on a fractured leg. The injury, sustained during competition at the Winter Olympics on Sunday, required further intervention. Vonn indicated that the operation was successful and that she is seeing positive developments in her rehabilitation process.
