According to figures released by the health ministry, thirteen individuals have lost their lives in a series of Israeli military operations targeting southern Lebanon. Among the fatalities confirmed are four women and a young child, underscoring the severe impact on the civilian population in the region. These strikes come amidst ongoing hostilities between Israeli forces and Hezbollah, an Iran-backed militant group. The continued escalation of violence persists despite previous agreements for a ceasefire, indicating a breakdown or significant strain on efforts to de-escalate the conflict. The situation in southern Lebanon remains highly volatile as the clashes between the two factions show no signs of abating.
