Watch: Police raid on gang behind fake gay asylum claims

Police have conducted raids targeting a criminal gang suspected of facilitating fraudulent asylum claims by advising migrants to falsely present themselves as gay. This action follows a BBC investigation earlier this year, which exposed a network of law firms and advisers allegedly assisting individuals in fabricating their sexual orientation to secure asylum in the UK. The operation aims to dismantle the organized network believed to be exploiting the asylum system through these deceptive practices. Further details on the number of arrests and specific charges are expected as the investigation progresses.
