Norway’s crown princess apologises after pressure over Epstein friendship

Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway has issued an apology to the Norwegian public following scrutiny over her past friendship with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The Princess expressed regret for not recognizing the true nature of Epstein’s character sooner. The apology comes after a period of intense public discussion and media attention regarding her association with the convicted sex offender. She stated that she is sorry for not having understood what kind of person he was.
